STEEP DESCENT OR STEEP CLIMB SIGNS

Where: On any road but especially in mountainous areas.

Purpose: To warn that the road will descend steeply (hill).

Action: Be aware of slow-moving traffic, particularly in mountainous areas with sharp curves. Be on the lookout for slow moving trucks.
