FALLING ROCKS SIGN

Where: Especially in mountainous areas.

Purpose: You should be aware that rocks or soil may fall, or have fallen, onto the road.

Action: Slow down to be able to stop within sight distance if a fall occurs or has occurred. Such falls occur more often when it rains and therefore reduce your speed further since your stopping distance during rainy weather will be longer.
